If you are visiting Central Park, you may be aware that close by is the location of the Ross Family Penthouse on Disney’s show “Jessie.” In this post, we will tell you exactly where to find it.
About Jessie’s Penthouse
First of all, a little background. If you are the Jessie fan in your household, then you already are familiar with the penthouse. But if you are not (maybe it is your children asking you to visit the penthouse), you may be feeling out of the loop.
The penthouse in the show belongs to the Ross family. The show’s lead character, Jessie Prescott, ends up as the Ross children’s nanny after moving from Texas to New York City.
The colorful interior of the penthouse was filmed in a studio in Los Angeles. But the exterior of the penthouse is a real building in New York City with a very distinctive façade. In fact, it is a famous apartment building known as the Ardsley. Architect Emery Roth’s art deco structure features Mayan inspiration in the decorative details of its design. Indeed, it is well worth seeing whether you have watched the Jessie show or not.
Here is Where to Find Jessie’s Penthouse
The street address for the Ross Family’s penthouse from the Jessie show is 320 Central Park West.
In fact, this places it just northwest of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, and close to the Central Park Tennis Center. If you are visiting with children, you (and they) will also be pleased to know that Safari Playground is very close to the Ardsley, as is Tarr-Coyne Wild West Playground.
Since the building is directly across the street from Central Park, residents get to enjoy breathtaking views of the reservoir. This also makes it relatively easy to find and access the building if you are visiting the park.
